The Byrd’s Nest

The Byrd’s Nest Mentoring Program™

An annual, bi-weekly program designed to support young girls (ages 4-11). The program is divided into two groups: Grades K-2 and Grades 3-6. The plan of the program is to inspire girls to gain a deeper appreciation for personal achievement and to become young leaders in their communities. The program allows girls to meet and interact with positive female role models for encouragement and to empower them to take full advantage of their talents and academic interest. We want to discredit any myths young girls have about self-images and cultural limitations. The desire is to build a strong nest!
